In 1976 I built my first hurdy gurdy. I wanted to have such an instrument and making one myself seemed to be the easiest way. Until 1985 I made some 40 more.
Some years ago I started building again and since that time I make a small number of instruments every year. Each of them is unique and individually made to the wishes of the future player.
Apart from hurdy gurdies I make harpsichords and dulcimers.
